1997 Porsche 993 Carrera S Tiptronic SOLD

Here’s one of the best-looking Porsche 911s ever – the wide-bodied Carrera S with its unique split engine cover lid. It’s a car I’ve sold before so I know it’s a good example.

This Tiptronic example is particularly interesting because the current owner bought it last year from an Official Porsche Centre – it’s extremely rare for them to handle cars of this age, so it must be a good example.

And, indeed, it is good. Finished in stunning Black Metallic it appears to be in original condition.

The interior is finished in Black leather with optional Sports seats, trip computer, air-conditioning, and a Porsche Classic Radio Navigation unit.

The car has covered just 55,000 miles. It was last serviced on 29th March 2011, and the MoT runs to April 2012.

The 993 Carrera S was only made in 1997 and 3714 were sold worldwide. This, therefore, is one of the last of the air-cooled 911s and a rare and desirable collectors’ item that is likely to appreciate in value.
